I got a call from Valeria the other day and she asked me to do another photoshoot. She was interviewed by one of the local magazines and needed some photos to be published. She had customized ring for her "Chandelier" act and of course, new costumes.
It was quite a challenge to do this shoot because the ring was constantly rotating. I had to wait for the exact moment to shoot to get the right angle of the photo. And at times, Valeria would ask me to stop her from rotating too fast. I had to run from where I'm shooting, reach up to stop the ring or rotate it to the other direction and then run back again to wait for the right angle/moment to shoot. And before you ask how I was able to reach up the ring, for photoshoot purposes, the ring was only around 5 feet off the ground.
Oh, just in case you're wondering where we did the photoshoot, it's inside a spacious warehouse, Art Sawa Gallery in Al Qouz.
